CNY Pictures
Despite the stomach flu hitting our house hard (all 6 of us got it but it took a week to go through the house) we made it to the CAWLI Chinese New Year party. Complete chaos...tons of kids, adults, music, dancing, food, friends...a great day. Here's a few pictures:

February already?
Time seems to be flying by. I know it's not. I'm trying to enjoy these 2 year old moments that Keeghan presents to me. I'm also trying to enjoy the teenage moments the 3 big kids present to me knowing full well that they'll be gone before I know it.
We're 13 months into parenting Keeghan and she is blending more and more into our family. I'm am still thinking about bonding and being sure Keeghan is getting what she needs but it's not the same pressing constant worry that it was. Sure, there are moments when I want to throw up because Keeghan wants to hug someone else or is willing to go to someone quicker than I would like but it's not as bad as it was. We're fast approaching what many say is a huge milestone...more time with us than without. Keeghan was a bit over 16 months when she was handed to me and we're at almost 14 months with us so soon. I was somehow or another ok with filling out and dropping off paperwork for pre-school and I talk about it like I'll enjoy it, but I'm pretty sure it's going to absolutely SUCK when I actually have to drop her off in 8 months. Hopefully that time will let me ease into it. I'm more at ease with saying goodbye when I need to go to work...even if Keeghan cries. Keeghan seems more willing to let me go as she is figuring out "Ma Ma BACK!" as she says when I get home.
We've found some other adoptive families near us that we're gonna try and do playgroup with...I'll let you know how that goes!
