Day 66 of the LOA wait and a Monster Baby update.

So despite being VERY tired of waiting for our LOA there was a small bright spot today. I just got home to an e-mail from Lillian (the woman who owns our agency) with updated weight and height for Keeghan. So she's 82cm (that's 32 inches) and 11.6kg (which translates to a bit over 25lbs). I put those numbers into a growth chart for the U.S. and she comes out over the 70th percentile in both height and weight. NONE of our bio kids ever came close to that so this amuses me. But it amuses me more that I now know more about my baby. Oh and she has 10 teeth...6 on top and 4 on the bottom.
Come to find out, however, that she wasn't always a monster baby...So now that I had some time...I, of course, went and put Keeghan's measurements into growth percentile calculators. Not just the new ones, but the ones we had from before. Come to find out that the first set of numbers from when she was about 3 months old put her at under the 5th percentile all around...but both her 8 month and current numbers put her up in the 80-90th percentile. Guess they're taking good care of her.
And on a quick note about the other kids...we're busy with soccer and school and life. Devon is teaching himself to play guitar (an electric one, of course) but he's at least learning good songs (Paralyzer and Sweet Child O Mine so far that I know about). Carson is loving 4th grade and her teacher (same one she had for the 2nd half of 3rd grade). She's decided to take trumpet as her band instrument (yes, we have a loud house) and is participating in chorus as well. Kennedy loves middle school and keeps busy with both of her travel soccer teams. It's an interesting mix as one team is all girls (mostly a year younger than Ken) and one is mostly boys (only one other girl) who are all Kennedy's age. On the girls team Kennedy is the leader and the best player. On the boys team she holds her own but the other kids have been a team forever so Kennedy is the "new kid" even though she played with them last year. She told me the other day she feels like the underdog on that team. I told her she was right, but that it would make her not only a better soccer player, but a better person as well. I hope she walks away with both of those things.
